Cuban Climate and Landscape


Climate: Cuba is moderate subtropical. The Cuban territory is at the edge the Tropic of Cancer, and due to its small body, on an east-west axis, it receives the refreshing trade winds and the sea breezes.
During the winter, it is cooled by alot of cold air from the North, those cold fronts don't last long.
The day and night temperatures change less in the coastal regions than inland.
The eastern part of the country has a warmer climate than the western part.

Summer average 25º C (77º F)
Winter average 22º C (71,6º F)

Landscape: Cuba is covered with beaches. They are all over the country, becasue it is an island. People try to travel to Cuba, just because od its beaches. Sierra del Rosario is mountain range in the Pinar del Río Province of Cuba. It is located in the western part of the Guaniguanico Range, in the north-central part of the province.
